Originally from Brazil, Jackie gets cast as every ethnicity, not only the typical hot Latina. “My look is VERY adaptable.
Now, 10 plays, 16 films and numerous TV appearances later, Jackie continues to live on the passionate edge of her art and continues to grow in its dimensions and depth.
Jackie also excels in live theater. Pilgrims of the Night, at the Stella Adler Theatre, won Jackie raves reviews from LA Weekly. “I love theater: the hard work, the effort and that unique tingle of fear that comes only with live theater. I’ve acted in 8 plays in the last 3 years and produced 6 of them”, Pilgrims of the Night, Snow Angel, Beauty, Red Roses for My Lady, On Time, Apres Opera, Electric Roses and 8 Shades of Layon Gray.
With a number of acting roles under her belt, she decided to tackle the behind the scene as a film producer working in projects such as: “The Unborn, Blood Scarab, How to Beat a Bully and Flick’s Chicks”, in which she play the starring role of Chi Chi.
She grounded herself professionally at Stella Adler, where she graduated; she also studied at Lee Strasberg.
She’s still training and she is a member of the Filmmaker’s Alliance and The Creative Actors Alliance.
Her most recent acting credits include: “Rio 2, How to Beat a Bully, A Small Window of Time and Big Baby.”
